HTW (Design)

The Faculty of Design at the HTW Dresden has extensive experience in interdisciplinary cooperation with partners from various research areas, but also in particular from the field of medical prosthetics, auxiliary and stabilizing aids. There has also been a long term collaboration between the Faculty of Design and the IPF, e.g. by a recently given honored professorship to the IPF member Prof. Dr. Axel Spickenheuer, and for which or with which various projects in the field of structure optimization have been worked on. In addition to aesthetic competencies, the design faculty contributes expertise in the field of symbolic understanding of values and goals in a dynamically changing culture.
